Cambridge DELTA Module One

Teacher training application

Students on a CELTA course

The Cambridge DELTA is an advanced TEFL qualification for practicing English Language teachers. It is designed for teachers who already have substantial experience in the ELT profession and want to develop their skills further.

The Delta consists of three modules, each of which is separately assessed. Candidates can take the modules individually and in any order.

St Giles offers Module One of the Cambridge DELTA at our Brighton centre. It is the first of the three DELTA modules.

St Giles offers the course as a part-time evening programme, with input sessions on a Wednesday evening. The programme will include a mixture of the input sessions as well as pre/post session reading and post-session practice tasks.

  • The next part time course will start on the 29th February, until the 23rd May, preparing for the exam on the 6th June 2012
  • There is also a course from the 29th August 2012 until the 21st November 2012, preparing for the exam on the 5th December

The cost for the course is £550 GBP (not including the examination fee).
